Each estate, personal or charitable trust, or IRA is assigned a team consisting of a Brown Brothers Harriman portfolio manager and, from the Trust Companies, a trust or estate administrator, tax accountant and supervising attorney.

Fiduciary Experience
Senior officers at our Trust Companies are attorneys who have extensive experience in the fields of trusts and estates and applicable tax law.

Investment and Tax Distribution Strategy
The estate and trust team as a group assesses the needs and status of the beneficiaries and develops an investment and distribution strategy that will best achieve the creator's goals.

Administrative Tasks
Trust Company administrators carry out the day-to-day tasks needed for the orderly administration of the trust or estate.

Family Meetings
During the administration of an estate or a trust, we encourage family meetings to keep up to date with the needs of the trust beneficiaries.

Individual Retirement Accounts (IRAs)

We are pleased to act as Custodian of IRAs. This service includes all reporting required under IRS rules. Our Retirement Planning Services complement the administrative side of our IRA service.
