Seth C. Ward currently oversees the firm's Boston Wealth Management business. Mr. Ward has 15 years of investment experience. He joined BBH in 2006 after a ten-year career at State Street Global Advisors in client service and sales, working with institutional and individual investors. Most recently, he developed State Street Global Advisors' practice dedicated to single and multi-family offices and the consulting community which services the ultra-high net worth market. At BBH, Mr. Ward leads a team of professionals who deliver a customized set of asset allocation, investment and wealth planning services to families and individuals. Mr. Ward received his BA from Yale University and his MBA from the Harvard Graduate School of Business. Mr. Ward also serves on the Board of Directors of the North Shore United Way and is a Trustee of the Shore Country Day School.

Ms. Penta joined Brown Brothers Harriman in 2008, where she is responsible for trust operations and wealth planning services in the Boston office. Prior to joining BBH, Ms. Penta practiced at the law firm of Choate, Hall & Stewart LLP in Boston, where she advised families on estate, charitable and tax planning and non-profit organizations on various governance and tax issues. Ms. Penta is a frequent lecturer and author on a variety of topics focused on estate planning and charitable giving. She serves on several boards and committees, including the Winsor School Corporation, the Winsor School Alumnae Board, the Boston University School of Medicine Board of Visitors and the Boston Jewish Spirit Board of Directors, and is a member of the Boston Estate Planning Council, the Boston Bar Association and the American Bar Association. Ms. Penta received her JD from the University of Virginia School of Law, where she was the Executive Editor of the Virginia Tax Review, and her BA from Johns Hopkins University, where she was elected to Phi Beta Kappa.
